Beth Fields, Stecoah Valley Center welcomed GREAT to Stecoah Valley Center

Robert Rankin, Snowbird Mountain Lodge was unable to attend but provided the meal

General Items

Approval of minutes – March 21, 2019. Motion to accept was made by Jim Baker and seconded by Marsha Hollifield. The motion was approved by the Board of Directors.

Approval of agenda was made by consensus of the group.

GREAT Financial Report

Rick Davis, GREAT Director presented the financial report

Guest Speaker

Guest speaker was Sarah Thompson, Executive Director of Southwestern Commission (Region A) provided information on what the Southwestern Commission does. At present the main issues are housing and broadband for Western North Carolina. She also discussed the focus for Graham County Tourism is wireless access.
